![]() If you've been following the AV or computer trade press on the "white space debate" this year, you know that there have been some disturbing questions about how wireless microphones will fit in when analog TV broadcasts are shut down February 18. The reason is that most wireless mic systems transmit on frequencies in the UHF spectrum between existing TV channels. The FCC has been talking about reassigning those frequencies to new users and no one has been sure if they were going to leave room for wireless microphones to operate. There's some good news at last.
