The commons area is situated between the gymnasium entrance (on the left) and the auditorium entrance (on the right and shown below). It serves as a lobby for each, as well as a dining area and a 400-seat meeting hall, with its own sound and video systems.


Fifty-four Atlas ceiling loudspeakers, visible in the images above and in the closeup below, give the commons a strong permanent sound system. In addition, video and audio input and output jacks make it easy to plug in microphones, video monitors and projectors to convert the area into a very large, effective presentation room.
